I am looking to connect with Geo-Environmental Engineers who have over 5 years of experience to join an independent geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy located in the heart of Manchester. This consultancy specializes in providing practical and commercially focused ground engineering and environmental solutions. Their projects span a variety of sectors across the Northwest:
- Commercial developments
- Large infrastructure
- Industrial regeneration
- Brownfield redevelopment schemes
The role
- Lead and manage geo-environmental projects from tender stage through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing Phase 1 Desk studies & Phase 2 Site Investigation reports
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Undertake & supervise site investigations
- Manage risk assessments & remediation strategies
- Client liaison
- Supporting health & safety compliance and maintaining high technical standards
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Geology, Environmental Science etc
- MSc would be desirable but not essential
- Minimum 5+ years' experience
- Strong understanding of UK contaminated land legislation and planning requirements
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving license
