The Role

I am currently on the lookout for a Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer, to join a well-established, award-winning consultancy based in Leeds. This is a varied position, combining site work, technical reporting and client liaising, whilst offering on-going training and route to chartership.

Requirements

  • Ideally 12+ months consultancy experience
  • Relevant degree: Geology, Geotechnical, or another related discipline
  • Experience in ground investigation
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite and in the office

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting project delivery from tender stage to completion
  • Contaminated land investigations
  • Soil & groundwater sampling
  • Risk assessments
  • Preparing factual & interpretative reports
  • Client liaison
  • Site supervision

The Role Comes with

  • Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
  • Annual bonus – between 10-15%
  • Guaranteed route & support to chartership
  • 26 days’ holiday
  • 50/50 site & office working
  • 7% pension contribution
