The Role
I am currently on the lookout for a Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer, to join a well-established, award-winning consultancy based in York. This is a varied position, combining site work, technical reporting and client liaising, whilst offering on-going training and route to chartership.
Requirements
- Ideally 12+ months consultancy experience
- Relevant degree: Geology, Geotechnical, or another related discipline
- Experience in ground investigation
- Full UK driving license
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work onsite and in the office
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting project delivery from tender stage to completion
- Contaminated land investigations
- Soil & groundwater sampling
- Risk assessments
- Preparing factual & interpretative reports
- Client liaison
- Site supervision
