Overview

Ecologist – Birmingham (Hybrid, with remote working options)

I am currently recruiting for a large, independent ecological consultancy based in the West Midlands, who are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and ambitious Ecologist. You will be working within the ecology department, which is closely integrated with the planning team, as you work together on a wide range of projects.

This role is full-time and permanent and offers both hybrid and remote working options.

Requirements

• At least 2 years\’ consultancy experience (experience in conducting protected species surveys).
• Actively working towards a protected species license (ideally Bat or GCN).
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of UK legislation.
• Full UK driving license.
• BNG and habitat management.
• Membership or eligibility for membership to CIEEM.
