About the role:
I am keen to speak with Ecologists, with 2-3 years’ experience, who are on the lookout for their next challenge, to join a growing environmental team in Bath. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects, from habitat assessments, BNG planning and conservation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ecological surveys (e.g., protected species – Bat, GCN)
- Assist with mitigation & BNG strategies
- Preparation of technical reports
- Support project delivery from initial site assessment, through to completion
Requirements:
- Relevant degree e.g. Ecology, Zoology, Environmental Science
- Ideally 2+ years consultancy experience
- FISC (Field Identification Skills Certificate)
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation
- Experience in authoring ecology reports and habitat condition assessments
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role comes with:
- Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience)
- 22 days’ holidays, plus bank holidays
- 37.5 hours working week
