Position Overview: This full-time, day-shift Occupational Medicine Advanced Practice Provider position at Henry Ford Health offers the opportunity to join a systemwide team dedicated to promoting workforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple hospital sites. The APP will provide clinical evaluation and management of work-related injuries and illnesses, occupational exposures, pre-placement and surveillance exams, and preventive health services, while ensuring adherence to OSHA, MIOSHA, and CDC guidelines. Candidates with prior experience in Occupational Medicine, Employee Health, Urgent Care, or a related setting are preferred, along with strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires flexibility and willingness to travel to other Henry Ford hospitals as needed to support systemwide operations. The position offers consistent weekday hours, no weekends or call, a supportive interdisciplinary team, and the opportunity to directly impact employee health while contributing to standardization, quality improvement, and innovative occupational health initiatives across the health system.

Qualifications:
- NP – Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
- PA – Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- NP – Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan
- PA – Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application)
- National certification as an NP or PA (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- DEA/CSL, required through credentialing.
Experience in Occupational Medicine preferred.
