We are looking to recruit a Trainee Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a school or college leaver or a candidate with some accounts experience to move into an entry level role and progress a career in Accounting while working towards a professional accounting qualification.
The role will include:
- Bookkeeping and accounts preparation
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing client bank reconciliations
- Preparing Tax returns
- Using SAGE, Xero and QuickBooks Accounting software
- Daily communication with clients, through calls and emails
What we are looking for:
- Accounting software experience would be preferred
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively
- Someone who can work independently, and take ownership of their work
