SEND Learning Support Assistant Location: Telford Hours: 30 hours per week Pay: £15 per hour Students: 16–18-year-olds We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a college in Telford, supporting students aged 16–18 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will provide targeted, person-centred support to students, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential. The Role * Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students. * Support students with SEND and additional learning needs. * Assist students to engage with classroom learning and activities. * Work closely with teaching staff to provide appropriate support. * Encourage students' independence, confidence and development. * Follow individual support plans and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment. About You We are looking for someone who is: * Enhanced DBS Child and Adult * Experienced in supporting children or young people. * Comfortable in delivering personal care * Passionate about supporting students with SEND. * Patient, caring and approachable. * Confident working one-to-one and in small groups. * Able to build positive relationships with students. * Reliable and committed to the full working pattern.
