Work Place Assessor - Childcare in Suffolk

Are you an assessor in Childcare or in the social care sector looking for a change? or, are you an experience professional in the social care area looking for a change of career? If so, we are working with a high achieveing College in the greater Norfolk area who are looking for a Workplace assessor in the Child care provision. They offering a position for someone who is better suited to a life on the road, working alongside employers and visitng different work sites to support their apprentices. Essential Requirements * Assessor qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. * Degree in Childcare, Early Years, Education, or a related subject. * Significant occupational experience within the childcare or early years sector. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if travel is required). Main responsibilities: * Be the key contact for student work placements, to liaise with employers and deliver learning and assessment to a high standard. * Identify suitable work experience/placement providers, to arrange placement, visits/assessments around the needs and requirements of learners in order to meet their progress and achievement targets. * Carry out work place visits to obtain direct observation and record evidence as per course requirements. * Report learner progress to course leaders/Curriculum Manager
