You’ll join the team at a Nursery within an FE College, supporting children through their early development in a warm, well-resourced nursery environment. Your focus is simple: creating a safe, engaging space where children can learn through play, routine and positive interactions.

Your day will involve supervising activities, supporting learning, helping with routines, and working closely with your room team to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll follow EYFS standards, contribute to observations, and make sure every child feels secure, included and supported.

Shifts are 7.5 hours (plus lunch) within our opening hours of 7:30am–6pm, and because the campus is rural with limited transport, you’ll need to drive to get here reliably. We prefer full-time availability and need someone able to work 51 weeks per year. We can also offer Part-Time, yet it is less desirable.

Your purpose? Helping children feel safe, engaged and ready for their next stage.

What we need? You’re Level 3 qualified in Early Years / Childcare, confident with the basics and ready to contribute from day one. You enjoy being hands-on, working in a team and building strong relationships with children and colleagues. You value consistency, good communication and doing things properly — whether that’s following routines, safeguarding procedures or supporting learning. You bring patience, warmth and reliability to your day, and you take pride in being someone children can count on.

The benefits:

  • A supportive, experienced team who work closely together
  • Strong leadership and clear guidance
  • A well-equipped nursery backed by a Large College Group
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and development
  • A friendly environment where your work is genuinely valued
