Animal Management Lecturer – South Croydon Location: South Croydon Position: Animal Management Lecturer Start Date: Immediate Contract: Temporary – until January 2027 The Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Animal Management Lecturer to join a college in Croydon on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Animal Management across Level 1 and Level 2 City & Guilds, as well as T Level Animal Management. Key Responsibilities * Deliver engaging and effective Animal Management teaching. * Teach Level 1 & Level 2 City & Guilds Animal Management. * Deliver T Level Animal Management content. * Plan and prepare lessons and learning materials. * Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback. * Support learners with their academic and practical development. * Maintain a safe and positive learning environment. * Complete relevant assessment and learner documentation. Requirements * Previous Animal Management teaching experience – essential. * Experience teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Animal Management. * Experience delivering T Level Animal Management. * Strong knowledge of animal care, welfare and husbandry. * Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – essential. * Strong communication and classroom management skills. * Relevant Animal Management, Animal Science, Zoology or related qualification. 📅 Start Date Immediate start, with the contract running through to January 2027.
