About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths teacher to join a high-performing and supportive team in Tonbridge. The role involves teaching GCSE Foundation Maths to 16-18-year-old retake learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to small groups (maximum class size approx. 20)
  • Follow a clear and structured scheme of work, with the flexibility to adapt resources and lesson plans
  • Support learners in achieving improved outcomes in their GCSE resits
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and expanding team environment

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher with recent whole class teaching experience (not just tuition)
  • Experience teaching GCSE Foundation Maths
  • Confident working with 16-18-year-old learners
  • Based in or able to commute to Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells/Maidstone/Orpington
