Are you an experienced horticulture or landscaping professional looking to take your career into Further Education?

We are currently recruiting for a Horticulture & Landscaping Lecturer to join an established FE college and help develop the next generation of horticultural and landscaping professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced horticulturist, landscaper, garden designer or similar professional who is passionate about sharing their industry knowledge with learners.

The Role

You will deliver engaging theory and practical-based horticulture and landscaping sessions, supporting learners across a range of levels and helping them develop the technical skills required for employment and further study.

The role will include

  • Delivering practical and classroom-based Horticulture & Landscaping teaching.
  • Teaching areas including horticulture, garden design, planting design and landscaping.
  • Supporting learners with practical projects and industry-relevant activities.
  • Planning and preparing lessons, schemes of work and learning resources.
  • Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Supporting learner progression and achievement.
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety during practical activities.
  • Working alongside the wider curriculum team to continually improve the learner experience.

About You

We are interested in candidates with a strong combination of industry experience and horticultural knowledge.
