Head of Estates / Facilities Manager Location: West London Rate: £300–£339 per day Duration: Ongoing – minimum 12 months expected Start: ASAP Henry Blue are seeking an experienced Head of Estates / Facilities Manager to join a Further Education college in West London on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will lead the estates and facilities function, ensuring the college's buildings, grounds and services are safe, compliant, well-maintained and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities * Lead the day-to-day estates and facilities function. * Oversee planned and reactive maintenance. * Manage contractors, suppliers and facilities contracts. * Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements. * Manage statutory inspections and planned preventative maintenance. * Support capital works, refurbishment and estate improvement projects. * Manage budgets and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and value for money. * Provide effective leadership to estates/facilities staff and work closely with senior stakeholders. Requirements * Proven experience in a senior estates or facilities management role. * NEBOSH or IOSH qualification – essential. * Experience managing contractors, maintenance and compliance. * Strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory requirements. * Experience within education/Further Education is desirable. * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. * Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one.
