Interim Financial Director

We are seeking an Interim Financial Director at a college in the Midlands. They are looking for someone to start from the end of June and it will be a placement for 5-6 months working 3 days per week (potentially 4 days during August and September). The role will require the candidate to lead on finalising end of year financial statements and ensuring the systems, management accounts and reconciliations are all accurate for the year end. They will also be required to line manage the finance team whilst working closely with the College finance team leads. They will also work closely with their auditors RSM to gain a clean audit opinion allowing the year end accounts and associated finance record to be submitted to DFE by the end of December 2025
