- Up to date knowledge of the current edition of the IET wiring regulations.

- A good standard of education including Maths and English Grade A* - C (or equivalent) or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
Experience:
- Experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for NTS over a variety of age ranges) on Electrical Installation courses, or similar, is essential.
- Relevant industry experience as a practicing electrician.
- Experience of producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Integrating high quality formative assessments into classroom delivery.
- Evidence of inclusive and challenging teaching strategies.
- Supporting students to attend and meeting individual needs.
- Being an effective team member.
