SEN Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work within an SEN provision in a school.
Full-time and part-time hours are available, with ongoing opportunities for the right candidates.
The Role
- Support SEN learners in the classroom and during activities.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
- Assist learners with their learning, development and wellbeing.
- Support students with personal care – this is an essential part of the role.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team.
- Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous SEN experience is essential.
- Must be comfortable providing personal care.
- Must hold a valid DBS.
- Experience working in a school or SEN setting is highly desirable.
- A patient, caring and supportive approach.
