Role Details:
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Temporary, ongoing
- Location: Chelmsford
- Hours: Up to 27.5 hrs/week, split across two shifts: 7:00–9:00am & 2:45–6:30pm
- Pay: ÂŁ14.50 per hour (PAYE)
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or issued within the last 10 months
- Experience working with children preferred
- Passion for supporting and working with children
- Relevant childcare qualification or experience is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely escort children to and from school
- Plan and deliver activities, supervise play, and support children in the playground
- Prepare and serve meals; maintain cleanliness (“clean as you go”)
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children’s wellbeing
- Create a stimulating, safe, and caring environment tailored to children’s interests and needs
