Full Time Carpentry Lecturer | Oxfordshire | Up to £45,000 DOE
I’m recruiting on behalf of a well-established further education college in Oxfordshire for a Full Time Carpentry Lecturer to join their construction team.
The role
- Mondays and Tuesdays: teaching apprentices
- Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: teaching school leavers/further-education students
Courses
- Level 2 Bench Carpentry
- Level 2 Site Carpentry
- Level 3 Site Carpentry
Salary: £35k - £45K depending on experience and qualifications
What you’ll need
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Carpentry & Joinery or Site Carpentry
- Solid trade experience in carpentry, site and bench
- Teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential
