The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Animal Management Lecturer to join a college in Croydon on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Animal Management teaching.
- Teach Level 1 & Level 2 City & Guilds Animal Management.
- Deliver T Level Animal Management content.
- Plan and prepare lessons and learning materials.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners with their academic and practical development.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Complete relevant assessment and learner documentation.
Requirements
- Previous Animal Management teaching experience - essential.
- Experience teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Animal Management.
- Experience delivering T Level Animal Management.
- Strong knowledge of animal care, welfare and husbandry.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - essential.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Relevant Animal Management, Animal Science, Zoology or related qualification.
Start Date
Immediate start, with the contract running through to January 2027.
