Henriksen Studio is seeking a highly motivated Senior Facade Designer with at least 5 years experience to join our dynamic team of facade engineering, design, and Passivhaus professionals. This is a client-facing, project-driven role where you’ll be managing multiple schemes simultaneously from concept through to completion. Projects vary in scale, detail, and complexity, requiring both creativity and technical precision. You’ll develop high-quality building envelope solutions, draft detailed construction drawings, and collaborate closely with architects and consultants to bring innovative, sustainable facades to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design development and delivery on facade engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects in the creative design process.
- Contribute to future-ready buildings that align with net-zero carbon targets.
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, ensuring clarity, detail, and coordination.
- Deliver sketches, drawings, and specifications to a consistently high standard.
- Apply company procedures to secure the best outcomes for clients and projects.
- Represent Henriksen Studio at workshops, design meetings, and site visits.
Your Profile
- Degree (BSc/Masters) in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proven facade engineering or facade contractor experience.
- Strong knowledge of facade systems, particularly unitised curtain wall systems.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD essential).
- Organised, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proactive, collaborative, and an effective communicator.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility during busy periods.
- Familiarity with building physics and structural analysis software is advantageous.
