About the Role
Henriksen Studio is seeking a highly motivated Senior Facade Designer with at least 5 years experience to join our dynamic team of faade engineering, design, and Passivhaus professionals.
This is a client-facing, project-driven role where youll be managing multiple schemes simultaneously from concept through to completion. Projects vary in scale, detail, and complexity, requiring both creativity and technical precision. Youll develop high-quality building envelope solutions, draft detailed construction drawings, and collaborate closely with architects and consultants to bring innovative, sustainable facades to life.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design development and delivery on faade engineering projects.

Collaborate with architects in the creative design process.

Contribute to future-ready buildings that align with net-zero carbon targets.

Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, ensuring clarity, detail, and coordination.

Deliver sketches, drawings, and specifications to a consistently high standard.

Apply company procedures to secure the best outcomes for clients and projects.

Represent Henriksen Studio at workshops, design meetings, and site visits.
Your Profile

Degree (BSc/Masters) in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.

Proven facade engineering or faade contractor experience.

Strong knowledge of facade systems, particularly unitised curtain wall systems.

Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD essential).

Organised, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.

Proactive, collaborative, and an effective communicator.

Willingness to travel and flexibility during busy periods.

Familiarity with building physics and structural analysis software is advantageous.
