What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and mentoring an accounting team, providing guidance, support, and coaching.
- Ensuring day-to-day accounting operations run smoothly and accurately.
- Reviewing financial information, supporting month-end and year-end activities, and helping maintain strong financial controls.
- Looking for smarter, more efficient ways to improve processes and workflows.
- Partnering with leaders across the business to provide financial support and solve problems.
- Supporting the organization's ERP system and helping optimize financial processes.
What you'll bring
- Five or more years of accounting experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with cost accounting and indirect taxes
- ERP experience (SAP is an asset)
- CPA designation (or working toward one) is an asset
- French/English bilingualism
