We are looking for a proactive domestic couple (preferably chalet/yacht couple) to manage the principle’s property in Padstow, Cornwall. The property is used fairly regularly by the family during the summer season (no commercial). The property is in a stunning location, with waterfront garden, and local access to Padstow, and all its surrounding surf friendly beaches.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Preparing the property for the beginning of the season & closing down at the end of the season
- Family cooking, healthy, fresh & nutritious meals (breakfast, and dinner most days when the family visit, some lunches and an occasional dinner party)
- Daily housekeeping, including the awareness of how to care for fine furnishings and fabrics. Overall, able to maintain cleanliness and presentation
- Laundry & ironing (including use of a roller iron)
- Household shopping and general errands
- Dealing with security systems, gates, CCTV and household technology. Being on hand to assist with Wi-Fi or security codes
- Strong maintenance skills required, including daily care for a pool and hot tub
- Letting contractors into the property, liaising with the property manager to book contractors where necessary
- Care of surfboards & wetsuits
- Arrange powerboat maintenance when needed (Powerboat & surfing experience a bonus)
- Driving the family where needed (drive to the beach, collecting from airports etc)
- Some administration, including booking restaurants when required, and liaising with PA and property manager on family plans
- Be flexible for last minute changes to timings and menus as per guests requirements
