If you are a Sheffield, South Yorkshire or wider Yorkshire‑based SAP Business One Solution Architect, SAP B1 Senior Consultant or SAP B1 Lead Consultant ready to step in‑house at a respected UK manufacturer, this is one of the strongest SAP Business One Solution Architect jobs in Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the in‑house SAP Business One target architecture – functional, technical and integration – across SAP B1 on HANA, Boyum B1UP, Produmex WMS and Beas Manufacturing.
  • Lead SAP B1 implementation, upgrade and rollout projects across UK, EMEA and US manufacturing sites, partnering with an external SAP Gold Partner for delivery.
  • Define the chart of accounts, dimensions, MRP and shop‑floor design across multi‑site manufacturing operations.
  • Govern SAP Business One customisations, B1 SDK add‑ons, Service Layer integrations and Crystal / SAC reporting standards.
  • Run SAP B1 steering committees, vendor management, budget tracking and roadmap prioritisation with the CFO and COO.
  • Mentor a small in‑house ERP team of SAP B1 Functional Consultants, Developers and Power users.
Skills and experience required
  • Demonstrable experience as a SAP Business One Solution Architect, SAP B1 Lead Consultant or SAP B1 Senior Consultant.
  • Proven full‑lifecycle SAP Business One delivery across at least 5 implementations or major upgrades, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP B1 Financials, Production, MRP, Inventory and Sales.
  • Hands‑on understanding of SAP B1 SDK, Service Layer, SQL/HANA, Crystal Reports and Boyum B1UP.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and architecture‑governance skills with the ability to lead C‑suite ERP conversations.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and able to attend the Sheffield site on a hybrid basis (typically 2–3 days per week).
Desirable / nice to have
  • SAP Business One certification on SQL or HANA editions.
  • Previous in‑house SAP Business One experience at a UK or European manufacturer.
  • Exposure to Produmex WMS, Beas Manufacturing or BPC for SAP B1.
  • Experience working with SAP Gold Partners as the customer‑side architect.
Why apply?

Our client is a profitable, well‑established South‑Yorkshire manufacturer with a stable SAP Business One on HANA platform, a multi‑site UK and international operation and a clear technology roadmap. You will be the most senior SAP B1 voice in the business and report directly to the IT Director. The package includes £75,000–£90,000 base, performance bonus, fully‑funded SAP Business One certifications, 27 days holiday, private medical, pension and a genuine 2–3‑day‑a‑week hybrid policy from the Sheffield site.
