- Own day‑to‑day Sage Intacct functional administration across General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Management, Order Entry, Purchasing, Multi‑Entity, Multi‑Currency and Sage Intacct Reporting.
- Run Sage Intacct discovery workshops with finance, FP&A and customer‑success stakeholders, translating business needs into Sage Intacct dimensions and configuration changes.
- Configure Sage Intacct dimensions, smart rules, smart events, custom reports, financial reports and ICRW dashboards.
- Lead in‑house Sage Intacct enhancement projects, version upgrades and entity roll‑outs to new EMEA and US subsidiaries.
- Triage Sage Intacct incidents and support tickets, owning resolution alongside an external Sage Intacct Premier Partner.
- Champion Sage Intacct best practice internally – clean configuration, sandbox‑first releases and Sage Intacct API governance.
Skills and experience required
- Demonstrable experience as an in‑house Sage Intacct Senior Consultant, Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant or Sage Intacct Functional Consultant moving in‑house.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes – month‑end close, multi‑entity consolidations, intercompany, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and revenue recognition (especially SaaS subscription revenue).
- Confident building Sage Intacct custom reports, financial reports and Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) outputs.
- Working knowledge of Sage Intacct integrations with Salesforce, Stripe, Expensify, Concur, Lightyear or ApprovalMax.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate finance and FP&A needs into Sage Intacct changes.
- Eligible to work in the UK and able to attend the Brighton office on a hybrid basis (typically 2–3 days per week).
Desirable / nice to have
- Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist or Accounting Specialist certification (current).
- Part‑qualified or qualified ACCA / CIMA / AAT.
- Previous in‑house Sage Intacct experience at a SaaS, subscription or services business.
- Exposure to Sage Intacct integrations (Salesforce, Expensify, Concur, Lightyear, ApprovalMax).
