Henley Morgan is working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of their end-to-end IT function. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, driving automation, and continuously improving business systems. You will play a key role in supporting multiple sites while ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of core IT platforms — including SAP Business One. This opportunity would suit a proactive IT professional who thrives in an operational environment and enjoys making a real impact across the business.
The Role
As IT Manager, you will be responsible for the full IT landscape, ensuring systems operate efficiently with minimal disruption. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business while leading technical delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the IT function, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations
- Driving automation initiatives to reduce manual and repetitive processes
- Providing hands-on technical support and issue resolution
- Managing and maintaining network infrastructure across multiple UK and European locations
- Overseeing support and ticket management through a service desk platform
- Developing and supporting reporting solutions using SQL, SSRS, Power BI, and Crystal Reports
- Maintaining and integrating SAP Business One with third-party systems including WMS, task automation tools, and routing software
- Supporting and optimising the company’s eCommerce platform in collaboration with Marketing
- Managing a range of business-critical systems, tools, and applications
- Overseeing IT budgets, hardware/software provisioning, and third-party suppliers
- Enhancing cyber security posture and monitoring Microsoft Secure Score
- Continuously improving IT policies, documentation, and performance
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a senior IT or IT Manager role
- Strong technical background in:
- SAP Business One
- .NET development (C#, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, REST APIs)
- SQL Server and reporting tools
- Windows Server and Microsoft cloud technologies
Location
Peterborough. On-site role with responsibility for multiple locations.
Salary & Benefits
£70,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits.
