Henley Morgan are working with a global, mid-sized organisation operating within a technology-led environment, who are looking to hire an experienced BI Developer to join their growing Applications and Data team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking true end-to-end ownership of BI solutions. You will be hands-on across the full lifecycle of reporting, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Operations, and other core business functions.
The Role
This is a hands-on BI development position where you will design, build, and deliver trusted Power BI dashboards and datasets from the ground up. You will work directly with business users to define requirements, shape data, build semantic models and DAX measures, and support reporting adoption across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting across Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Develop reporting-ready datasets using SQL, including views, joins, transformations, and performance tuning
- Design and maintain Power BI semantic models, measures, and calculation logic
- Shape and integrate data using Power Query and dataflows from multiple sources
- Collaborate with ERP and SQL specialists to improve reporting outcomes
Experience
- SAP Business One or other ERP systems
- Power BI development (semantic modelling and DAX)
- SQL query writing and optimisation
- Power Query and dataflows
- Comfortable owning BI delivery end-to-end in a mid-sized business environment
- Manufacturing or technology sector experience
- SAP HANA exposure
- Jira or Confluence
- Data governance or KPI framework experience
Salary and Location
- Competitive salary up to £70,000 DOE
- Hybrid working model (3 days on-site) in West Sussex
