About the role
Henley Morgan is partnering with an established Odoo Application Management Services (AMS) practice that is growing its Essex support function. As Support / AMS Analyst you will be the first technical point of contact for a portfolio of UK customers running Odoo Community and Enterprise, owning incidents from triage through to resolution and helping clients get more value from their platform. It is a varied role that blends structured incident management with hands‑on functional problem solving across the wider Odoo suite.
Key Responsibilities
- You will manage and prioritise an incoming queue of support tickets against agreed SLAs, reproducing issues, diagnosing root causes and resolving or escalating as appropriate.
- Day to day you will configure and tune Odoo modules across Accounting, Sales, Inventory, Purchase and Manufacturing, write clear documentation and knowledge‑base articles, and work alongside developers on more complex fixes and small enhancements.
- You will also build trusted relationships with key client contacts, keeping them informed and confident throughout the lifecycle of each request.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with hands‑on Odoo experience, gained either from an end‑user role inside a business running Odoo or from a previous AMS or support position at an Odoo partner. Strong functional knowledge of core Odoo modules is essential, and exposure to Python, PostgreSQL or SQL for investigation and light customisation is a real advantage. Just as important are the soft skills: clear written communication, calm prioritisation under pressure, and a genuine appetite for solving problems and keeping customers happy.
What's On Offer
Alongside the salary you can expect a discretionary performance bonus, hybrid working, funded Odoo certifications and a structured progression path towards senior support, functional consultancy or development tracks. The team is small enough that your contribution is visible and large enough to offer real variety of work across multiple clients and industries.
