Henley Morgan has partnered with a global, mid‑sized technology‑driven organisation that is expanding its Applications and Data function and is now seeking an experienced BI Developer. This role offers a genuine opportunity to take full ownership of business intelligence solutions, delivering end‑to‑end reporting across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Operations, and other key business areas to develop impactful and trusted insights.
The BI Developer will play a hands‑on role in designing, developing, and delivering Power BI dashboards and datasets from scratch. You will engage directly with business users to gather requirements, model and transform data, build semantic models and DAX measures, and support the adoption of reporting solutions across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting for Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Create and optimise SQL‑based datasets, including views, joins, transformations, and performance tuning
- Build and manage Power BI semantic models, calculations, and measures
- Integrate and shape data using Power Query and dataflows from multiple source systems
- Work collaboratively with ERP and SQL specialists to enhance reporting capability
- Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP platforms
- Strong Power BI development skills, including semantic modelling and DAX
- Proven SQL development and optimisation experience
- Hands‑on use of Power Query and dataflows
- Confidence owning BI delivery end‑to‑end within a mid‑sized organisation
- Background in manufacturing or technology environments
- Exposure to SAP HANA
- Experience using Jira or Confluence
- Knowledge of data governance or KPI frameworks
Competitive salary up to £65,000, dependent on experience. Hybrid working arrangement with three days per week on‑site in West Sussex.
