About the role: We are partnering with a well-established Oracle NetSuite solution provider to find a NetSuite Technical Consultant / Developer to join their growing delivery team in Birmingham. This is a hands-on technical role working across implementation and post-go-live projects, building customisations and integrations that solve real business problems for clients spanning manufacturing, distribution, retail and professional services. You will work closely with functional consultants and project managers to translate requirements into robust, maintainable NetSuite solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will design and develop custom solutions using SuiteScript 2.x across the full range of script types (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Suitelet, RESTlet and Map/Reduce).
- Day to day you will build and maintain workflows in SuiteFlow, create saved searches and custom records, manage deployments through the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and Git-based workflows, and deliver integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems using tools such as Celigo, Dell Boomi or Workato.
- You will also support data migration activities, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to technical documentation and best-practice standards.
What We're Looking For:
- We are looking for someone with solid commercial experience developing on the NetSuite platform, ideally with several years of SuiteScript 2.x and SuiteCloud Development Framework experience.
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals, comfort with SQL-style querying and saved searches, and exposure to at least one integration toolset are important.
- Experience across the full project lifecycle, from requirements through to deployment and support, is highly valued.
- A SuiteCloud Developer II certification (or a clear path towards it) is a strong advantage.
- Above all you should be a pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys working directly with clients and writing clean, scalable code.
What's On Offer:
A competitive salary in the £58,000 – £78,000 range depending on experience, plus a performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. You will get genuine hybrid flexibility, a clear progression path with funded certification support, varied project work across multiple industries, and the chance to deepen your technical NetSuite expertise within a supportive, partner-level team.
