Our client, a £ 100 million technology business based in Bristol, is looking for an Operations Director to join their growing business.
This role will be based in their Bristol office, with the potential for European travel and will be working directly with the Managing Director to ensure the long-term and day-to-day operations of the business facilitate the ongoing growth plans and continued success of the business.
- Oversee Day-to-day operations across the region, includingsupply chain, operations, inventory, warehousing, customer service, field services, systems, and procurement.
- Manage the end-to-end device lifecycle operations processes.
- Keep an overview of SLA performance across the customer base — turnaround times, fill rates, uptime commitments.
- Set consistent and comparable operational metrics to make any potential problems visible early across UK and Europe.
- Continuous improvement across costs and services for the UK and Europe.
- Ensuring Compliance and quality is adhered to, including data sanitisation and obligations on device disposal.
- Developing and building successful operational teams across the business.
Experience required
- Circa 10 years in hands-on operations management with direct experience of running an operational function or region.
- Hands-on experience with leading implementation, migration, or consolidation.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce as an operational tool.
- Multi-site and multi-country operational leadership experience within Europe & running operations across borders.
- Direct cost ownership, with quantifiable results.
- Experience running a contractual, SLA-driven service business.
- Experience of managing mobility or enterprise device services.
- Familiarity with device management platforms and with OEM partner relationships.
The successful Operations Director can expect a salary of circa £125,000, as well as a car allowance and up to 20% bonus.
