The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the commercial management of construction projects for external clients. You will report directly to the Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand and promote Health & Safety procedures across projects and supply chains.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work in accordance with commercial tracking processes.
- Manage and delegate tasks to junior team members as required.
- Commercial & Project Duties:
- Prepare programme-based cost-to-complete forecasts and project budgets.
- Advise on procurement strategy.
- Prepare subcontract documentation, including bills of quantities.
- Review contract conditions and report risks or recommendations.
- Procure subcontractors.
- Prepare and analyse tender costings.
- Manage costs across a variety of projects.
- Undertake cost-value analysis and reporting.
- Perform risk and value management and cost control.
- Identify, analyse, and respond to commercial risks.
- Produce detailed progress and financial reports.
- Price and agree variations with clients.
- Value works in progress and agree final accounts.
- Provide commercial advice to site teams.
- Maintain awareness of current building contracts.

- Experience acting as a commercial lead on multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Strong analytical and technical data interpretation skills.
- Ability to manage workloads and meet performance targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
