You will lead the commercial performance of assigned projects, maintaining strong cost control, ensuring compliance, and supporting excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all commercial aspects of projects, including valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
- Working closely with Contract Managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and commercial best practice
- Supporting compliance with all relevant regulatory, contractual, and safety standards
About You:
- Proven experience within the construction industry (experience in Passive Fire Protection is advantageous but not essential)
- Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Good working knowledge of construction contracts (JCT and/or NEC preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach to work
