Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Working Carpenter Site Foreman to join our team for ongoing and upcoming projects in Milton Keynes. This is a dual-role position combining skilled carpentry with site supervision responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced tradesperson who can lead by example on site, maintain high standards of workmanship, and keep the project running smoothly day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out carpentry works on residential and/or commercial sites as required.

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations on site.

  • Manage and motivate subcontractors and direct labour.

  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and site is compliant at all times.

  • Monitor progress against programme and report to management.

  • Liaise with site managers, project managers, and clients as needed.

  • Ensure quality control across all aspects of the build.

  • Organise deliveries, site setup, and general coordination.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter and site foreman (or similar supervisory role).

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination.

  • Ability to read and work from drawings and plans.

  • CSCS card essential; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.

  • First Aid (preferred).

  • Good communication and leadership skills.

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to lead by example.
