We’re seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team in Wolverhampton. You’ll play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of mechanical and electrical projects, working across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, public sector, and industrial developments. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate cost management, contract administration, and value engineering throughout project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost control and forecasting across multiple M&E projects.
- Prepare and negotiate tenders, subcontractor packages, and variations.
- Administer and manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Conduct monthly valuations, progress claims, and financial reporting.
- Support project teams with procurement, risk management, and commercial advice.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the building services or construction sector.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC forms of contract (preferably NEC3 or NEC4).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office suite.
