Contracts / Installation Manager – Dry Risers Location: Wilmslow, Cheshire Salary: Around £45,000 DOE Job Type: Permanent Start: ASAP We are looking for an experienced Contracts / Installation Manager to join a specialist fire protection contractor, overseeing dry riser installation projects across the region. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong understanding of dry riser systems who can confidently interpret technical drawings and ensure installations are completed in accordance with relevant British Standards and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage dry riser installation projects from start to completion. * Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project information. * Ensure installations are carried out in line with relevant British Standards. * Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and site activities. * Monitor project progress, quality and programme. * Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders. * Attend site meetings and resolve installation issues. * Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification. * Review drawings and identify any technical or installation requirements. * Assist with project planning, procurement and material requirements. * Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Requirements * Previous experience within dry riser installation / fire protection. * Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings. * Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and installation requirements. * Experience managing engineers, subcontractors or installation teams. * Good communication and organisational skills. * Able to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines. * Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
