Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts typically between 07:00 and 19:00, with occasional weekend work.

Role Overview

Seeking a Systems Engineer to carry out installations, construction, and builds of workshop-based security systems, including access control, wireless systems, CCTV, ARC, and SICS units. The role involves both workshop and site-based work, working independently and alongside other engineers while ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

Technical
  • Assist with the build, manufacture, and configuration of IP, HDTVI, CCTV, access control systems, and wireless infrastructures.
  • Support work on ARC and SICS units for workshop and site projects.
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and configure control panels, cameras, and associated equipment.
Operational
  • Follow goods-in procedures.
  • Support and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Assist with installations and deployments.
General
  • Contribute to team tasks and support colleagues where required.

Requirements

Preferred
  • Experience as a Security Systems Engineer.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and wireless systems.
  • Understanding of DVR and NVR systems.
  • Experience with data cabling and terminations.
  • Networking experience in IP systems.
  • IPAF certification.
  • Health and safety qualification.
  • NRSWA certification.
  • ECS card.
Essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving ability with commercial awareness.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.

Salary: Β£27,000 – Β£35,000 per year
