Site Manager
Location: North of England
Projects: Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington & Nationwide
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 + up to 18% bonus
Type: Permanent
Start: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee subcontractor-led projects across the North of England.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in utilities, drainage, civils or general construction who has a strong focus on health & safety, quality and project progress.
The Role
- Oversee 1-2 projects at any one time.
- Majority of work across Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
- Nationwide projects, although staying away is not the norm.
- Home most nights in the majority of cases.
- Projects typically run for 1-3 weeks.
- Project values around £100k.
- Oversee subcontractors rather than directly managing the full project.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.
- Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
- Maintain a strong focus on health & safety.
- Carry out site visits and monitor standards.
- Occasional nationwide travel will be required.
Requirements
- Previous Site Management or Site Supervision experience.
- Experience within utilities, drainage, civils or construction.
- Strong understanding of health & safety.
- Experience overseeing subcontractors.
- Good understanding of site progress and programme management.
- Able to work independently across multiple projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel when required.
