We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor on a major groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) frame project based in Walton-on-Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of a large-scale project, overseeing the full groundworks and RC frame package from inception through to completion.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of the groundworks and RC frame package
  • Leading site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
  • Monitoring health & safety and ensuring full compliance
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and senior management
  • Managing quality assurance and site reporting
  • Identifying and resolving project risks and site issues
  • Driving productivity and maintaining high construction standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing groundworks and RC frame projects
  • Strong background working for a groundworks or civil engineering contractor
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project programmes and costs
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
