About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy leisure centre in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is a hands-on management role, responsible for ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the leisure centre, ensuring smooth and safe running at all times
- Manage, motivate and develop site staff, including rotas, training and performance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding and statutory regulations
- Monitor site maintenance, cleanliness and presentation
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
- Manage opening and closing procedures and site security
- Support programming and delivery of activities to maximise participation and income
About You
- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role (leisure, facilities or similar environment preferred)
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Sound understanding of health & safety and operational compliance
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
- Relevant leisure management or facilities qualification (desirable, not essential)
