A growing and well-established construction company is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential and commercial developments across South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to join a business with a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for delivering high-quality builds.
The Role
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the Contracts Manager will take responsibility for managing multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple residential and commercial construction projects simultaneously
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and project programmes
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations
- Monitor budgets, costs, and commercial performance across contracts
- Lead progress meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Support project planning, procurement, and resource allocation
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry
- Strong background in residential and/or commercial developments
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, H&S regulations, and project delivery
- Ability to manage multiple live sites and coordinate site teams effectively
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Full UK driving licence
