We are a growing design consultancy based in Newmarket, seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 5-7+ years experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical systems across a range of projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial, residential, and/or industrial projects
- Produce detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers
- Attend site visits and support project delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
About You
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5-7+ years relevant experience in a consultancy or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g. BS 7671)
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working towards or already chartered (desirable but not essential)
