Role Overview
As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for managing projects from design release through to handover for procurement and production. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager while receiving technical guidance from the Design Manager. The role requires producing accurate, buildable, and compliant designs while responding effectively to client changes and project demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce construction and fabrication drawings.
- Record and issue RFIs.
- Attend design team meetings and design reviews as required.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs) for projects.
- Log daily time allocations using internal systems.
- Produce site and fixing schedules/lists.
- Maintain project documentation in line with company procedures.
- Support continuous professional development and training initiatives.

- Deliver accurate technical drawings with minimal errors.
- Ensure designs remain practical, safe, and buildable within a construction environment.
- Contribute to efficient project delivery through effective design coordination and value engineering.

Qualifications
- Required: A-Level qualification or equivalent; Construction-related qualifications.
- Desirable: Façade engineering or passive fire protection training.
Experience
- Required: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role; Roofing, cladding, and rainscreen experience essential.
- Desirable: Full building envelope experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong technical understanding of construction systems and assembly.
- Proficient in: 2D & 3D design software, Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings.
