We are looking to recruit either a Junior Contracts Manager or Junior Project Manager to join our growing team, based full-time from our office in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within contracts or project management, ideally with experience in steelwork and/or staircases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the management of contracts or projects from order through to completion
- Coordinating with clients, suppliers, and site teams
- Supporting programme planning, budgets, and delivery schedules
- Monitoring quality, progress, and health & safety compliance
- Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates
- Assisting with variations, valuations, and documentation where required
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a junior contracts or project management role
- Background in steelwork, staircases, or related construction sectors is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and keen to develop professionally
- Comfortable working office-based with site visits as required
