We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, based in the TN17 area. The role will involve the commercial management of concrete and groundworks packages across a range of construction projects, supporting delivery teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of concrete works packages, including reinforced concrete, formwork, and associated groundworks
- Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of subcontractor packages
- Measurement, valuation, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Preparation and submission of interim applications for payment
- Assessment and agreement of variations and final accounts
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaison with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery
- Ensure commercial compliance with contract terms and company procedures

Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the concrete, groundworks, or civil engineering sectors
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction methodologies
- Good working knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT, NEC)
- Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
