We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Director to join our growing group of companies based in Rhyl. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic finance professional to play a key role in shaping the financial direction of a diverse and expanding business, working closely with the directors to support growth, investment, and long-term success.
The Role
As Finance Director, you will take overall responsibility for the financial management of multiple businesses, providing strategic leadership and commercial insight while ensuring robust financial controls and reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic financial planning across multiple companies.
- Oversee development finance and funding arrangements.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
- Monitor the financial performance of development sites and operational businesses.
- Provide commercial advice to directors on growth, investment, and business strategy.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls, reporting systems, and governance procedures.
- Produce accurate financial reports and management information to support key decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with banks, investors, accountants, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally as a Finance Director, Financial Controller, or similar.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence strategic business decisions.
- Excellent financial planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing finances across multiple companies or business entities.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience within property development, construction, or a multi-company environment would be highly advantageous.
- A proactive, commercially minded, and hands-on approach with excellent leadership skills.
