Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Brickwork & Scaffolding Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive (Negotiable based on experience) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, specialising in brickwork and scaffolding projects. The role involves managing costs from initial estimates through to final accounts, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to agreed quality standards. You will work closely with site teams, clients, and suppliers to maintain profitability, cash flow, and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Prepare valuations for interim applications for payment, including variations. * Price variation orders and ensure correct client charging. * Negotiate and prepare final accounts. * Monitor costs to ensure works remain within budget. * Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality. * Manage document control processes. * Understand and apply relevant health & safety regulations. * Negotiate costs and prices with clients and suppliers. * Attend on-site meetings and provide commercial input. * Produce cost value reconciliations (CVRs). * Maintain contract cash flow. * Prepare turnover and profit forecasts. About You * Experience working for a subcontractor is essential. * Knowledge of brickwork and scaffolding. * Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively. * Strong mathematical and analytical skills. * Able to work both independently and as part of a team. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Full UK driving licence.
