A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects across Essex and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and groundworks, capable of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects from inception to completion.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor commercial performance alongside the Quantity Surveying team.
- Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering and groundworks.
- Strong knowledge of drainage, roads, foundations, utilities and infrastructure works.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and programmes.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
