We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end residential development in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected for premium residential builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site-based construction activities on high-end residential projects.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.
- Maintain strict health & safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
- Manage quality control and finishing standards, ensuring luxury residential specifications are met.
- Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and materials management.
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Support project completion including snagging, client handover, and final inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end residential projects.
- Strong background in luxury housing, bespoke homes, or premium refurbishments.
- Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and finishing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
- CSCS Card (Black/Gold) – Essential
- First Aid at Work – Preferred
- Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) – Advantageous
