We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end residential development in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected for premium residential builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all site-based construction activities on high-end residential projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.
  • Maintain strict health & safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
  • Manage quality control and finishing standards, ensuring luxury residential specifications are met.
  • Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and materials management.
  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support project completion including snagging, client handover, and final inspections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end residential projects.
  • Strong background in luxury housing, bespoke homes, or premium refurbishments.
  • Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and finishing standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • CSCS Card (Black/Gold) – Essential
  • First Aid at Work – Preferred
